Our Week in Pictures August 20-27th 2007

Last Thursday the base hosted their annual cattle drive through base housing! They do it every year to kick off the rodeo in town! Ben enjoyed the street sweeper cleaning up the roads just as much as the long horn cattle and horses. Too bad we were parked in a red ant hill and got biten. Mommy got the brunt of it with almost 60 bites! Ben had only a handful. You have to be pretty cautious around here.

Ben and I also did the yard work this week while Daddy was recovering from a shoulder injury. He was precious, following me around with his mower and wearing our big blue hearing protection ear muffs!

I also included a photo from our lunch date with Daddy. It shows exactly what Ben does when we eat out (in between drawing masterpieces of course on the back of our placemats) and for a large part of the rest of the day.... drives trucks, cars, motorcycles... flys airplanes, helicoptors... all with great sound effects!

And lastly, my Kindermusik Certificate of Liscensure came in the mail so I'm an official Kindermusik Educator. I been teaching for 2 weeks now and have about 20 kids! My favorite part of it is teaching Ben's class, which both he and his Daddy attend!
