This past weekend, 3 of my dearest girlfriends and I went on a shopping trip to Oklahoma City! We spent two nights at the Hampton Inn (thanks to Jill's gracious points sharing), ate at lots of yummy restaurants and shopped our little hearts out! It was such a gift to have uninterrupted time together to visit and relax, wonderful husbands who took care of all the kiddos while we were away and all the amenities of the "big city"! I feel fully stocked and ready for the baby now, I don't think I would even need to leave the house for the next two months :) And I was able to finish most of our Christmas shopping with just a few online orders to make. This was my first time away overnight from my sweet Benjamin, and I'm proud to say that we were both very brave... to say the least! I definitely missed Ben and Marc, and I know that they do love and did miss me... but every time I called they seemed to be having the time of their lives celebrating their own guys weekend. They played every pretend scenario Benjamin could come up with, had a indoor camp out complete with marshmallows, attended his preschool fall festival party and went to a bowling birthday party! I got a wonderful welcome home complete with lots of hugs and kisses, but I don't think he was at all concerned with my temporary absence!

How fun ladies!!!! Yea, for the husbands. I'm so glad that you got so much shopping done. It is sooo much easier to shop without the wee ones!
