You can't watch Bob the Builder without your construction hat! He's practicing for Halloween, guess who he's going to be? He'll ask me sometimes, "can we fix/do it mommy?" and before I can answer he exclaims "yes we can!" (which is a common phrase Bob the Builder says). I'm not sure how he picked it up so quickly as he's only seen the show a few times, but I'm not totally surprised seeing as they have all sorts of cool trucks and machines showcased! Oh and I can't forget to mention how cute his feet are when he's really excited about something... they rub together and he curls his precious little toes!
Helping get cookies ready to bake for our newest neighbors and dear friends the Andersons who just arrived in Altus... woooo hoooo! He asks for cookies often, which is funny seeing as he doesn't really like sweets yet and only wants a bite when it's offered. Not that we're disappointed :) He does like to find his Cookie Monster and ask him, "you like cookies?"... "I like cookies too!"... "you eat this cookie?" which means that he wants me to make Cookie Monster pretend to try to eat the imaginary cookie out of his hand so he can laugh and squeal and run away!
My camera barely caught our superhero in action racing between all his trucks in a mad dash to find the right equipment to rescue the little people family from the fire in their house!
Trucks, trucks, trucks! It's the first thing he says when he wakes up and then last before bed! His favorite thing to do, to draw you back into his world if you've absentmindedly wandered on to meaningless grownup stuff such as the laundry or dishes or bills :), is to ask you "you want a truck?". He says it so sweetly that you just have to say, "why yes I do, will you please get me one?" He gets so excited and then thinks really hard about which one you should play with. This is the expression he often has when trying to decide. Too cute! I didn't want to forget this :)
Then he'll ask "you come sit here? you play with this!"
Which is what he did to Daddy who joins in the fun for this picture. They're preparing for the ever important dump truck to bulldozer boulder shuffle! You laugh, but it's a very sensative operation and critical part of the morning routine :)
love,
Usually the second string fire truck driver :)

They're making another super heroes movie about "The Flash". They called and wanted Ben to play "The Flash" as a youngster!
