We are here!

We are here in Germany! 10 days into it and...

-we've successfully switched to the new time schedule, but we still have a lot to catch up on

-we've been reunited with our minivan and are the proud new owners of a used bmw station wagon, both outfitted with Navigons :)

-we've both passed out drivers tests and are permitted to drive over here

-we've had a great welcome and orientation by our super sponsors and dear friends the Chmielewskis

-Ben's already made two fabulous new best friends princess Maeve and tball superstar Declan

-we've seen so many houses and so many great villages and now we just need the stars to align... right house, right village, right location and right timing

-both our slow and long shipment of household goods have been here for almost a week, we just need a house to put them in

-we're excited to stop driving around and start living here

-we have European cell phones and a post office box, but it could be a VERY long time before we have a home phone or internet access

-we miss everyone back home, but are so excited to be here and will begin bugging people about their first visit as soon as the house thing happens

-I am sooooo behind on my blogs I'm having an anxiety attach just writing this... so many great pictures and stories, milestones and adventures that I want to document!!!

-I'll be back as soon as I can...

Jaimee,

Thank you so much for working so hard to make this move easy for the boys and for us. I truly do love you and have no idea what I would do without you. Love, Marc
