Happy 2nd Birthday Dear One!

Happy birthday to our sweet Benjamin Dane! You are SUCH a joy, an absolute treasure! Mommy's Bookie and Daddy's Little Dude! You have the dearest personality... you are so compasionate and loving, but also so very BOY! You love to talk talk talk and at times even help mommy fill in a word when she's stuck trying to describe something! You are very affectionate and so generous with your smiles, hugs, handholding and kisses. You're always asking me if I need help... a tissue every time I cough or sneeze. Such a gentleman! You stop what you are doing when someone has a boo boo and start searching for their mommy, cause you know mommies make things better. You can't wait until your daddy comes home so you can show him and tell him everything you've done that day and then quickly involve him in some sort of physical game. You have an awesome imagination and have taken me on all sorts of adventures as firemen, boat captains and zoo keepers! You have a real desire to learn and keep mommy on her toes thinking of new things to teach you. You would play and play all day if you could, but you also think it's important to be involved in grown up stuff... you're such a helper at home. The few times that we are apart, you give me the best greeting I could ever imagine... I feel like a rock star! You are so loving... and SOOOOO loved!

Favorite activities: jumping on the trampoline, riding your new "motorcycle" or your trike, art projects, dancing and singing, roll playing, wrestling, and hiding

Best friends: Ella, Isaac, Sydney, Olivia, and Annabell

Cutest sayings: I'm so excited!; Ohhhhhh, I ride that?; Let's go!; See that or Hear that mommy?... that's a BIG CROCODILE!; Look at me, I'm a fireman, I go help and rescue someone!; thank you for dinner mommy, tastes good, it's in my BELLY!

Favorite time of the day: Snuggles when we first wake up and bedtime

Cutest gesture: Your "feelings faces", especially the surprized and angry ones :); thumbs up; all the signs you like to show us from your sign language lessons

On your actual birthday daddy and I took you out for doughnuts, then we brought pumpkin cookies to your playgroup and that afternoon we went to Chuckee Cheese's! Here are a few photos!
