What a party!

We celebrated Ben's birthday with a big bash at our home. He had about 14 friends over for a costume party. We had music, games (parachute and bean bag toss), slides, a trampoline covered in beach balls, an inflatable obstacle course, a craft project and lots of yummy food! Ben dressed up as a puppy dog. In attendance were dragons and princesses, elephants and cats, Hawaiian girls, a pumpkin, a bumblebee and Miss America... just to name a few! The weather was beautiful and the little man was such a kind and considerate host! He gave Daddy and I lots of hugs, what a sweetheart, inbetween racing back to play play play. He belted out the happy birthday song, and was thrilled when we put his name in it. He's quite good at blowing out the candle this year. And he opened all his gifts very well, oooooing and ahhhhhing over each one like it was "just what he wanted", too precious! He didn't eat the cake - cupcakes this time - AGAIN, as he still isn't into sweets. But his friends sure enjoyed them while he enjoyed a big plate of strawberries. He told me he can't wait to do it again :) Here are some of the highlights in photo form.

love,
