This past Saturday was packed with activity. 9-10:30am Church Preschool Easter Party, 10:30-12:30pm good friend Ryan's 3rd "Construction" Birthday Party, 1-3:30pm big nap to recover from all the excitement of bouncy castles and chasing down Easter eggs, 4-6pm good friend Annabell's 3rd "Bowling" Birthday Party, 6-10:30pm hang out with sweet Ellie and dear Miss Carleen while mommy and daddy host "German Night" for their Dinner Group! Wow, what a fun day!

Posing with Daddy with your loot!
Counting the eggs.
Diving in... you still don't like candy, but you were excited just the same!
Marc, the chef, prepares a German FEAST! We are in a dinner club with 3 other couples: The Strasbaughs, The Lindmarks, first The Weavers and now The Andersons. We get together once a month at alternating homes to eat a fabulous meal and catch up on each others lives (not hard to do in sweet little Altus where we see each family multiple times a week anyway... but still very nice to have an uninterrupted evening to spend together). This month it was our turn again, and we decided to try to make a German meal. I wasn't expecting much since the recipes we chose didn't sound all that exciting to me... but WOW was it delicious! We'll definitely add these dishes to our repertoire.
Jill and Steve dish up the potato pancakes and applesauce appetizers.
Steve and Patrice relaxing
Steve shooting some pool.
Everyone sitting at the table minus me behind the camera and poor Monica recovering from a nasty Altus flu bug!
