Disney World Trip 2008!!!

We had a wonderful time on our Disney World vacation this September! We stayed at our timeshare on the Disney World property in the Saratoga Springs Resort. We invited all the Summers to come along: Omi, PopPop, Aunt Dee Dee, Uncle Brad, Aunt Kristin, Caden and Owen. We visited Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, attended Chef Mickey's Character Lunch, played games at Disney Quest, shopped an dinned in Downtown Disney, tried Fantasia Mini Golf and relaxed around the resort pool (Ben was fearless on the BIG water slide - over and over again!). Boma's African buffet was an extra delicious treat! Ben LOVED the rides, and the shows and meeting the characters! We mostly enjoyed watching his facial expressions and listening to him exclaim, "look mom!", "I get to drive it myself!?!", "there's Buzz Lightyear!", "I didn't know Donald could dance!", "let's do that again!" etc... We're already looking forward to our next Disney adventure!

I think this was Ben's favorite ride! Not surprisingly, it was his Daddy's too when he was a little squirt!
The Jungle Boat guide asked for a volunteer to "drive" the boat and Ben jumped up and took the wheel! He took it very seriously :) The driver was so impressed that a 2 year old would say his name, age and where he was from so effortlessly. He was so excited!
