Monday Fun and How Did God Do THAT?!?

Monday's are pretty special around here... they are reserved for all day Mommy-Ben time with no unnecessary chores, errands or outings. We play games, role play, do lots of learning time activities and experiments, go on field trips and read lots of books/do lots of puzzles/create lots of art projects... etc! Anyway, this Monday I took some pictures of some of our favorite activities and discoveries.

We found the first Fall leaf of the season!

Decorating the back patio with wheel tracks, it sounds simple enough but this is a very important project to Ben!We're reading about how God parted the sea for the Israelites to escape the Egyptian army and then went outside to try it ourselves with some sand and water in a Tupperware dish... a very cool experiment to show how awesome of a miracle God did and of course it also gave us a great reason to make mud pies :)
