No More Training Wheels

Benjamin has been asking us to take off his training wheels for a few months (seriously since June or July)... but mommy was a little hesitant. He is my baby after all, and still just 3. But after watching him zip around on his balance bike again and again I realized how silly I was being. So, one day a few weeks ago, after daddy got home from work, we removed the training wheels from his two wheel bike. It was the 17th of September, on a Friday evening. Just 1 month short of his 4th birthday.

You were so excited!

Daddy showed you how to get started...

and held on for literally a minute before you said "let go Dad, I can do it!"

And you could! We couldn't believe how quickly you got it and how well you did!

Within 10 minutes you were starting, stopping, turning and even testing out our little hill.

We just loved watching you. What a big boy!

We celebrated your big accomplishment that night at a special dinner. Way to go love!
