This is our second year for a family garden and we've been eagerly anticipating the arrival of planting season. Marc doubled the size and we got all the raking, dirt laying, seeding, labeling and fencing in today... well, mostly Marc did while Ben and I took turns "accidentally" spraying him with water! We can't wait to eat all those yummy fruits and veggies! And thanks to Omi who was a big help too.
The dirt goes in, Ben waits for the cue from Dad to start shoveling!
This is so cool!

Such an ornery face... trying to tempt Omi to come closer so he could spray her too!

Okay, I may need some gardening tips. We want to have a small garden for veggies, etc. but I've never done anything like that before. We can't do it in the ground because our ground is too rocky and not good for it. I thought about making a "planter" of sorts. Any advice for a novice like me from professionals like yourselves?
