2 Months Already!!

Please! This baby is ridiculously cute and oh so sweet! He's just a complete love!!!

At about 9 and a half pounds and 24 inches, he's a little on the small side... but he's mighty! Gaining fast, I'm sure he'll be inching up the percentile scale soon :)

New this month:

Big smiles.

A few little laughs.

Cute coos and ouus and ahhs!

Mommy think's he can say "hiii" and "maum" (hi and mom), but she will admit that she's a little sleep deprived.

Bats at toys hanging above him.

Visually tracks and follows us and fun toys.

Building some mean neck strength.

Likes:

Motion and lights and all the basic newborn favorites!

His big brother!

The bathroom heaters.

His Amby hammock bed.

Riding what we refer to as the "choo choo train"... which is really just Ben and I shuffling up and down the hall with a gentle rhythmic bounce and soft chugga chugga choo choo chant :)

Still loving the sling and carrier.

Dislikes:

Nothing really, just waiting to be fed and dirty diapers - the standard.

Silly:

His ears wiggle and even all out flap when he's eating!

He is most famous around town for his unbelievablely cute cries... so pathetically sweet they just make you smile! He's already quite dramatic... I see a definate Oscar in his future!

Looks:

Still has those precious forehead wrinkles and we're still waiting to figure out his eye color... but his new hair/fuzz is coming in black!

Health:

Spitting up issue definately improving... we think it's mostly just an immature valve in his esophagus... a little baby bumps on his cute little face and ears which are already clearing up nicely... and a rumbly tummy that's starting to calm down (I think partially attributed to mommy taking it easy on dairy - you know I love this baby if I'm willing to give up milk for a while!).
