What kind of mother...?

I listened to my sweet little 2 month old cough and hack and wheeze all night long. And then held him all morning long while his cough escalated into a terrible barking sound and he wouldn't stop crying, which is very rare for him. Then finally, as he started screaming and pulling on his ears... I mangaged - by the grace of God - to get through to the appointment line and secure an appointment that day at the ped clinic...

The only problem was that we had to check in in 5 minutes... the clinic is a little more then a 5 minute drive and we were still all in our pajamas. So I threw on a sweat suit and loaded everyone in the car as fast as I could.

We managed to get there barely on time and thankfully, were seen right away. Of course the precious little TRAITOR did not hack or cough or sneeze once. He didn't scream or cry or fuss. He just smiled and coo'd at the doctor the whole time. Nice. Now he really thinks I'm crazy. Then as soon as we put him back in his carseat he feel fast asleep. Like there wasn't anything wrong with him.

Back in the car we go and dear, patient Ben reminds me that he hasn't had anything to eat yet. Since we desparately needed to do a grocery run, I took everyone to McDonalds. I hadn't intended to go inside, but we ran into good friends that were going in so we didn't want to pass up the opportunity to play too (as Liam was still fast asleep in his carseat carrier). Once inside I remember that Ben is still in his pajamas, his hair hasn't even been combed, he's without socks and is wearing his rainboots. Once again, nice :)

Here's an updated picture of my precious little traitor and his big brother who's currently on the run from the fashion police.

The traitor :)
Making a fashion statement.
Ben with his sweet Brenna. (That's what he calls her, "my Brenna")
The good friends, Jill and Sydney Peterson (the best actually!)!

I think this is my favorite post ever! You guys are too fun! Are you sure you don't want to stay in Altus a wee bit longer?
