Cooper has been subjected to the cone while his surgery scar heals. I would feel bad if I wasn't lauging so much. That sounds mean at first until you come over and see just why I am laughing. He's not suffering at all! It takes a whole lot more then this to keep Copper down. He will just twist and turn and push and ram himself around the house. It's doesn't matter how tight the spot or how loud he is. He'll perservere. And if it's not possible, he'll find a way around it or another way to do what ever it is he's trying to do. Including steeling food! ARG! I really do love this dog. He is so smart and so sweet and friendly and near perfect in every way except for one... he steals food. All the time, no matter the punishement, it's all worth it to him. I was always slightly annoyed by this, but with a 3 year old who eats all day long and a baby who ties up my hands for a better part of the day... Cooper is rejoicing in the constant supply of food-stealing opportunities and I have just about had it! I would have thought that the cone would have given us some reprieve, but of course not. I really should video some of his escapades. Maybe it would win us some money on America's Funniest Videos.
