In all his precious 4 years of life... NEVER has he done something like this! I couldn't believe my eyes... all over our leather couch. Thank goodness his art cubby is stocked with washable markers. It all came off with a baby wipe. I let him sweat about it for a little while first of course. I just happened upon it after putting Liam down for a nap and gasped. Benjamin came running and said, "what's wrong mom?" I pointed to the couch and he had a half smile half look of fear. I asked him why he would do such a thing when I know he knows we only draw on paper! He said he was drawing on paper when the marker slipped off the edge and made a little line on the couch. He didn't want me to be upset with the ugly mark... so he decided to make it pretty. And voila, this is his pretty! Hehehe. We talked about only doing our projects at our table and next time, telling mommy right away. He agreed that would be a better plan of action and said I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry mommy! Do you forgive me? Do we have to sell all my toys to buy a new couch? I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry! That's when we hugged and I pulled out the baby wipes :)
