Another great Christmas Market! This time we headed off to Cologne/Koln which is about 3hrs North. We chose this one in particular because Uncle Brad was here working on his GE windmill contract and it was a good location to meet up with him. It also has a pretty amazing cathedral. We had a nice visit with Uncle Brad over a delicious German meal and enjoyed taking part in the festivities.
Here are the boys with Saint Nicholas in front of the cathedral.
An amazing sidewalk chalk artist who drew a beautiful polar bear picture.
Uncle Brad! We've seen him twice now in Germany.
Daddy and Benjamin on the Ferris wheel we rode on in one of the 6 Christmas markets that were spread out across the city.
Mommy and Liam sat on the other side.
A view from up above... it was wonderful, but I don't recommend going on a Saturday, it was packed! You were at the mercy of the crowd for a large part of it and just had to go with the flow.
The cathedral.
The fam riding in a tourist trolly from one market to the other.
This was one of 7 (Rodenbach, Kaiserslautern, Strasbourg, Cologne, Garmisch, Munich and Saarbruken) we went to this year, all different and all fabulous! What a treat!
