3 o'clock a.m. I heard the call.... "Maaaaaaaaaaaammy!?!" I knew it probably wouldn't go away as I could tell you were wide awake. So, I trudged into your room to be greeted by, "Hi Mommy! I'm hungry!" I tried to reason with you and tell you it was bedtime, but you were hungry. I offered to get you a piece of bread but you wanted chicken. We settled on mac n cheese (Aunt Annie's has a good organic version for anyone interested). We shuffled out to the kitchen where you excitedly climbed up into your booster chair. You ate the whole bowl and drank a glass of milk. Daddy came out to join us thanks to all the comotion :) Afterwards you were ready to play, but you took it pretty well when I explained that there was NO WAY that was going to happen because all sane little boys and girls were STILL SLEEPING! Needless to say, we're a little sleepy today. Guess this is one of those growth spurts. Daddy promises that you had had a good dinner, I had been out at a spouses' function. I'll be ready tonight with some bedside snacks.

HOW do they always know when it's going to be a long day, and pick THAT night to wake up? It's a phenomena that should be studied. Hope you sleep better tonight.
I am so cracking up that you made him Mac & Cheese in the middle of hte night. I'll be over for Lasagna tomorrow morning around 4.
