Our Favorite Memories of the Week!

We had a fun week! Make our own play dough, make your own crown, a field trip to learn about Indians and fishing with daddy while mommy participated in a Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Fundraiser and vendor fair. I'm hoping to add 4-6 new families to my Kindermusik program!

love,

J
I'm so excited, they're encouraging me to be messy!!! This was one of our home school preschool projects this week. Yellow play dough that we used cookie cutters on to make stars.
This is serious stuff, stop distracting us mommy!

We talked about how Jesus is a King! Then I got to make my own crown. I wanted mommy and daddy to have one too. It didn't take much for me to convince mommy to wear hers!

The little king takes claim to the best seat in the den for the football game! Notice the "scepter" in his hands. Once I explained to him it's purpose, he hasn't put it down!

We almost got them all to sit down for a picture, quite a feat with a bunch of 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 year olds!

Marc said he kept telling him, "I'm so excited daddy!" And every time they reeled in the line Ben was so excited to have "caught" a bobber! He had a few nibbles, but despite his big fish stories, he hasn't hooked his first yet! He does dig his new spider man fishing pole though!

I'm really enjoying teaching Kindermusik (preschool music and movement classes). It's just a very small part of my week, a few hours on Mondays, but it's the perfect fit for me right now. And I love being able to have Marc and Benjamin in one of my classes... what a good daddy to participate! Benjamin loves it! He sings all the words to all the songs, does all the dancing, plays all the instruments and loves all the games!
