Baby Liam's Nursery

I want to begin this post with a message to my new little monkey... it might not look like much, seeing as we didn't decorate and dedicate an entire room just to your nursery yet... but being our second child, and being much more knowledgeable parents, we think you got the best set up possible. Your brother had a cute nursery, which he didn't move into for a long time. He started off in our room in a pack-n-play because we realized that we wanted him close by. And we all thrived with this set up... so when we knew you were on the way we went right to work creating the perfect nursery cove inside our bedroom. You'll still have a cute first room... but for now, I think you have the best nursery possible! And often times all four of us gather in here to love on you!

Liam's Nursery/The West wall of Daddy and Mommy's bedroom...
Liam in his nursery! We need an updated sleeping picture though as you have made it clear that you don't want to be swaddled anymore in your crib. Now we just put you in there, usually leaning up against one of the sides, in a sleeper and hat with a light blanket over your lower torso and body.
Daddy on diaper duty. He wakes up often to help Mommy, which is wonderful, but he is still a pretty silly sleepy guy. Last night he tried to pick up your big brother (who's 3!) and bring him over to the changing table. I said, "What are you doing with Ben? Put him down! Where are you going with him!?!" And your not-so-alert father said, "I was just bringing him over to help with the measuring." Uh, whatever! My poor babies! There is a crazy person in our house, but it's NOT mommy despite whatever the books say about wild hormones during this time :)

I love that monkey bedding! Adorable. And the story about Marc - well, that's just priceless. :)
