our new little "squeaker"

Good Evening Everyone,

Well, I was remiss in my duties as a father in the Internet age and you are getting this information not instantaneous, but pretty darn close seeing what has been going on:
We want to welcome Liam Robert Summers into our family and can't wait to introduce you all to him.

Here are are the first of his stats:
Born 8:21 AM on Sunday November 30th (two weeks before his December 13th due date, surprise!)
Length: 20 inches
Weight: 6 lbs 15.8 oz
Dark Blue eyes (for now) and Brown fuzzy hair
He has a barely there cute dimpled chin, big round cheeks and a wrinkly forehead.

Teammates:
Mother is doing great (and did great)! We arrived at the hospital only 3 and a half hours before Liam's arrival so it didn't provide her with quite the pain relief she was hoping for.
Brother is very proud and is amazed at all the little sounds his baby makes. As he said, he is a little squeaker.
His best quote so far was on Monday when Ben asked if the doctor was going to put the baby back in Mommy's tummy... which, at least at this moment, he doesn't want to happen.
He loves to talk to the baby, touch him and hold him on his lap.

With out further delay, Team Summers would like to introduce our newest player:
LIAM.
Enjoy!
Jaimee trying to smile between contractions... I think she said something like "sweetheart, the reason I posed for so many pictures when we left the house for Benjamin's birth 3 years ago was because I wasn't in labor yet and was just so happy to be going in to be induced since he was nearly two weeks late!" We also stayed at home probably longer then we needed to because she didn't want to impose on friends and startle Ben in the middle of the night. This was taken a little before 5AM.
After a speedy arrival... here he is!
The proud father.
Some good mommy and baby shots...
The very excited big brother!
Investigating his baby brother...
"Hi baby Liam, I'm your big brother!"
Time to go home! Here's daddy after having returned the next morning to reunite with mommy and baby... just a little drama to make the story more interesting... Ben got sick during his visit to meet his little brother just a few hours after the birth. So daddy took him home for the night and mommy flew solo, with the help of a great nursing staff and the blessing of a very mellow/sleepy baby. Turns out Ben has a nasty middle ear infection, non-contagious thankfully, but pretty painful! So we're all recovering physically and emotionally now... hence the late pictures.
Leaving the hospital, escorted by Sherry one of the wonderful nurses who cared for Jaimee and Liam.Arriving at Liam's first home: 1000 Trail Drive South in Altus
Welcome home little guy!
A special sign decorated by our budding artist.
"Can I hold him!?!"
The first of many kisses...
Marc, Jaimee, Benjamin and Liam (Cooper and Chloe, too!)
