Getting our Christmas Tree 2008

This was our last family outing with just the three of us. The day before Liam was born, we went to the Sassy Tree Farm in Altus to get our Christmas Tree! It was a beautiful slightly crisp, but not to cold, day.
It was easy to find the perfect tree as almost all their trees are gorgeous. Ben and Mommy are pretty decisive, so after a short hike we settled in on this beauty.

Daddy did a great job cutting it down.

And then we raced back to the barn to see if we could beat the tractor (that would haul in our tree) there... and we watched the cool shake down and net wrapping operations.Come to think of it, maybe that racing back helped me go into labor later that night :)
