Christmas Morning 2008

Our Christmas tree first thing Christmas morning (well, 8 or 9ish really, which was perfect timing with a newborn in the house).

The reindeer ate the tomatoes and Ol Saint Nick gobbled down those yummy cookies! And the boys got letters back from Santa in their special envelopes... with really great messages about why Santa did what he did... to celebrate our reason for Christmas, Christ!

Ben's main Santa gift was an airport play set, lots of fun role playing with this toy!

Daddy and Liam trying to wake up :)

Ben finds some treasures in his stocking... this is a cool prism. Take note of the superhero jammies, they were the big theme this year and a must for our super family! Ben and Liam got G and G a snapfish photo book of all our adventures of 2008!
Liam got a really cool activity gym. He's only used it twice now, but I'm sure it will get a lot more use in the upcoming months. It plays soothing nature sounds and has lots of fun toys.

This was a Rescue Hero Christmas for Ben. I found lots of good pieces at a Children's Resale store in NC last summer. They aren't being made anymore, which is a bummer because I think it's a really good series. The Rescue Hero's have names like Billy Blazes (a firefighter), Wendy Waters (another firefighter), Bob Sled (a ski/snowmobile rescue character), Jack Hammer (who has lots of big tools for breaking down walls and such, again to rescue people) etc... you get the idea. Anyway, they go on lots of cool action packed adventures without any violence or bad guys... and they help people. Very fun!
Marc and I got each other a Cannon Rebel Digital SLR camera... lots of great photos to come! Especially with our upcoming travels and such cute photo subjects in our little guys!
We were all spoiled with lots of great gifts from each other and extended family members... thank you!!!
Including Hunter Dan from Grandpa! He was dressed up in hunting clothes just like Daddy does sometimes!
And he came with his very own tree stand, nice!
One of Liam's favorite activities was looking at the Christmas tree lights.
We had a great time eating lots of yummy food (coffee cake and eggs for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and a big turkey dinner), opening our presents and playing all day long. What a nice Christmas 2008, our last here at 1000 Trail Drive S. in Altus, Oklahoma.

Uh, you could have told me you ALL had those super hero pj's, silly. I could return the ones I got for the pin-on gift. :-)

Your Christmas looked fun!
