This little guy is just too precious... here are some of our favorite photos of him at 6 weeks old!
He has just about the cutest yawn you've ever seen.
He doesn't sleep nearly as much as he did in the beginning, but he still manages to get lots of shut eye. Now if we could just group it together into bigger chunks and sync it with ours a little better :)
His eyes are nice and big when he's alert now as he takes in everything around him. We still can't tell what color they will end up.
He still resembles his big brother, but he definitely has his own sweet look! I love how babies can even be cute when they're burping. One of my absolute favorite facial expression he has is his eyebrow lifting forehead wrinkle! Love it love it love it!
He's been smiling for over a week now, but we still haven't caught it on film. It's ridiculously cute and a little crooked! His eyes get extra big, his upper lip curls out and his bottom lip hangs down lower on one side then it does on the other... hard to explain in words!
He's definitely getting bigger weighing in at 9lbs now! And he should be gaining with how much he likes to eat and for how long he likes to do it too. He loves to ride in the snuggli and our new Ergo carriers and likes car rides when the car is moving. He's starting to swat at things and likes to feel different textures and grab onto anything convenient. And his latest achievement is some precious cooing and sighs of contentment. He can go pretty quickly from calm to active and happy to sad, but is mostly a very content baby. We just have to figure out a little rumbly tummy/spit up issue and then we'll all be much happier. We have an appointment with the pediatrician tomorrow to check it out. We'll be back with another update soon!
