Oh the joys of having a little boy. Here are just a few examples of our different points of view. It's not that he doesn't see the beautiful things I see, he does, and he finds joy in them. But he also sees... a little more then I do. Isn't that one of the joys of having children? You get to see the world through their eyes. Well, here's a little of what Ben sees.
"Ben look at the beautiful red bird in that tree."
"Yeah! And look at the potty. Ha ha ha, that's a potty tree!"
"Wow, isn't that elephant big?"
"Yeah, and his poopy is really big too, look mom!"
"What beautiful flowers on that tree.""Look mommy I got you one..."
"...from the tree that looks like a heinie!"
