It's been a super fun vacation here at Grandma's and Grandpa's here in North Carolina with one fun adventure after another. Aside from being spoiled at their wonderful home/5 star resort, we've thoroughly enjoyed many Chapel Hill, and surrounding area, amenities. This particular day we drove to the North Carolina State Zoo. It is a sight to behold indeed! With two large areas, one for North American and one for African animals. The two are connected by a hiking path and can both be done on one ticket if you have the time and are willing to walk the distance. We were, and we did! What fun!
It's so nice to have a double stroller and I'm so glad we got a side by side (this is Grandma's but we have one too) because the boys are so sweet together. Ben is almost always holding Liam's hand or letting Liam play with his fingers. It's so precious, and spontaneous. Liam is both entertained and comforted which means that we can go on long excursions without any fuss, amazing!
Liam is such a content little guy! He just looked around and happily sucked on his hand.
They have a wonderful Kidszone and playground area. Here Grandpa and Benjamin took a break from building their own lean to shelter to look for animals.
We put on a puppet show for Liam!
He was quite entertained!
This may have been Ben's favorite part... a real helicopter shell that you got to play in and pretend you were an animal rescuer!
The water animals are always my favorite. These guys never fail to perform.
