We started off with a delicious turkey dinner, Marc's and my family's traditions growing up. And had a scrumptious prime rib dinner Christmas day, Marc's and my new family tradition since we were married. Everything was "very tasty" and "good in my belly" according to Ben!
The preparations start bright and early.

Omi made/orchestrated the most fabulous feast!

Pop Pop always spoils us with his best wine... we especially like it when he reads the funny descriptions on the labels - is "infused with the taste of fresh soil" supposed to entice us to want more?

I can't remember what was so funny, I just like pictures of happy people laughing!

1/2 the table... Aunt Diane,
Omi and Benjamin. Ben just didn't understand why he couldn't blow out the candles, it was
Jesus's birthday
after all! And don't we just light candles to blow them out as a part of the birthday celebration!?!

The other 1/2...
Jaimee, Pop Pop and Marc.

Afterwards, we finished preparations on all the Christmas cookies and desserts. Sugar cookies are one of the most special traditions! And they were especially good this year!
