Christmas Morning 2007

Merry Christmas! We ended Christmas eve by reading the story of Jesus's birth and placing him in the manger with Mary and Joseph. We then enjoyed mostly likely our last lazy Christmas morning (since we're expecting him to really catch on that presents will be waiting for him in the years to follow) and rolled out of bed around 7:45am to head downstairs. We began Christmas morning by singing Happy Birthday to baby Jesus... then is was on to presents!

Our family in front of the tree Christmas morning!

OK, I'll smile, but I'm not so sure what the big deal is about this giant sock or what this strange little contraption is.
"OH! This is a stocking!?! Full of presents for me!?! I want to wear my new chef's hat! This snowman has special treats inside, for me!?! Yea!"

Some of his favorites (at least the ones I caught pictures of)!

His Saint Nick gift!
Lots of Boz the bear stuff from mommy and daddy.
Mommy and Ben rocking out to his version of Jingle Bells on his new xylophone stacking boxes!

Ben did enjoy opening his gifts, but he got equal - if not more - joy from watch/helping everyone open the gifts he got for them... and being showered with thank you hugs and kisses!

A special sign for Aunt Dee Dee!

Omi loved her bird coat rack, I got lots of extra kisses for that one!

"Here you go Daddy, I got this for you! I help you!"

How special it was to give and receive gifts in celebration of the greatest gift of all! Merry Christmas 2007!
