Our Favorite Things of 2007

Boat rides and train rides, the Dixie stampede in Branson,
Colorado skiing and spa-ing and warm cookies in our hands
Ben discovered the ocean in Hawaii and the sand he joyfully flinged
These were a few of our favorite things.

Earning evaluator status and fielding challenges in Wing Current Ops
Playing in a soccer league and joining ‘lil dude for trampoline hops
Camping trips in our new travel trailer away from phones that ring
These are a few of Marc’s favorite things.

When the planes break, a student’s attempt at landing makes the runway quake, or our 1970’s rancher needs another home repair…
Marc simply remembers his favorite things and sits down in his big recliner chair.

Music class, gymnastics, Church preschool and playgroup,
Riding his trike around our neighborhood loop
Front loaders, bulldozers, and fire trucks that ding
These are a few of Ben’s favorite things.

A big basket full of hats and costumes for role playing
A big boy bed with truck sheets and stickers for potty training
Learning time with mommy and chasing Cooper and Chloe Jean
These are a few more of Ben’s favorite things.

When Cooper steals a beloved golden Oreo, off to work daddy must go, or we don’t quite make it to the potty…
We simply remember our favorite things… then our day doesn’t seem so shoddy!

Running, hot-tubbing, and blogging online
Small groups, our dinner club and a business that’s all mine
Teaching Kindermusik, with preschoolers I sing
These are a few of Jaimee’s favorite things.

Dear friends and the chance to serve as a squadron spouse
“Domestic Engineering”, the joys of running a house
Date nights with Marc and Ben’s bear hugs-he clings!
These are a few more of Jaimee’s favorite things.

When the wind blows, the cotton harvesting irritates my nose or I forget to start the crock pot…
I simply remember my favorite things and sad anymore I’m not!
