Benjamin comes from a long line of great cooks! And he will have a wonderful repertoire of yummy family recipes to choose from when he has his own home and family. But there is one small concern I have had :) Although, as a whole, the Summers side makes terrific treats of all sorts... they are slightly challenged when it comes to chocolate chip cookies. It just baffles me as they make the most wonderful cakes and cookies and such that are much more difficult to make than a basic chocolate cookie. But, lucky for him, that just happens to be one area in which the Otis side excels!
However, trust you me... it is not a gift we take lightly! I know it was
given to us so we could share the sweet chocolaty perfection with
others. And share we do. If we can bring just one smidgen of joy to...
oh I digress :) Back to Benjamin...
So since you always want what is best for your children... I have been secretly hoping that he got a little more Otis influence in this area. And I am happy to report that he has! He made the most wonderful chocolate chip cookies for us this past weekend!!! They were DELICIOUS!!!

Yum, those look good and Ben looks like quite the little baker! I can't get over how big he's getting..such a little boy now. You two make such cute little boys! :)
