We started a dinner club with our dearest German friends the Kuppers and the Koenigs! Ramon, Dorothe', Lukas and Laura Kupper... along with Rudiger, Angelika, Marc-Kevin and Florian Koenig joined Marc, me, Benjamin, Liam and Aunt Diane for the first get together at our home this past weekend. We held a soup themed dinner with lots of good food, great conversation and friendly fellowship. The children also had fun playing together. We made sweet chili and cornbread, the Koenigs brought Lauch Hackfleisch Kaese Suppe and the Kuppers made Kartoffeln Suppe mit Wurst! Lecker! We made a special dessert using Reese Peanut Butter Cups, since they can't get those in Germany. Marc supplied the beer for the men, Angelika brought a yummy grapefruit beer for the ladies and the evening also called for some Pear Schnapps served with Marc's new Schnapps set. We are so blessed to have found such wonderful friends here and we look forward to many many more great evenings together!
The potato soup on the left and the cheese soup on the right, yummy!
Our chili, I was so happy that our German friends really liked it! It was a sweet chili recipe we recently found on the Internet.
My best friends here in Germany... Angelika and Dorothe' with me and my wonderful sister-in-law Diane. I am so blessed!
We're doubly blessed because our husbands are good friends also! Here are Ramon Kupper, Marc, Liam and Rudiger Koenig.
Benjamin with Lukas Kupper being boys and getting ready to tie someone up :)
Liam is a crazy good eater, he'll try anything! He was the only kiddo that tried all the soups. Such a love! Everyone enjoys him so much because he's the last baby of the bunch. A good predicament to be in for sure, he gets lots of lovin!
Every time we move, we are so sad to leave such good friends behind. But God always goes before us and prepares the most wonderful new friendships for us to be blessed with. These families will most certainly be added to our list of lifelong friends!

1. Yum.
2. Rudiger is like the coolest name ever.
3. Love me some Liam.
4. Are you sure that's Ben? He seems to have transformed into a large child instead of the toddler he will forever be to me. ;-)
5. Please tell your new friends that your old friends are jealous of the time they get to spend with you. But grateful to be reminded that God goes before us too.
(Did you hear that Virginia peeps? Get ready. We're coming.)
6. Did your sister get stationed somewhere? Near me? I hope so.
7. I miss you.
8. Movers here tomorrow. I should go to bed.
