Daddy... tell me more please!

As much as I love my two guys... I do enjoy a little me time (which rarely means blogging or scrapbooking and more often then not means dishes, laundry and clean up) when daddy does bath/shower and bed/story time. And daddy definately enjoys it too as you weren't always big on wanting anyone but mommy to do everything :)

However, after a wonderful day of Ben and mommy time... I also really look forward to just daddy and me time once you are asleep. Lately though that isn't as easy to come by as I will wait and wait and wait... and finally ever so quietly sneak into your room to find this...

Aside from needing your teddy bear, boz the bear and the humpty dumpty pillow that Grandma sent, you often also request your arrow, ax, sword or all three. Sometimes there's even a puppet thrown in there or one of your boats, submarines, trucks or cars! And to think I wondered if you would ever latch on to a "lovey"! After you are perfectly surrounded... you request a story. Even though we read books before bed, you really like it when we make up a story for you. Your most recent requests are for dinosaurs, trains, bears or pocohantas. I giggle sometimes because I can hear you spurring your sleepy daddy on to tell you more. "Don't stop talking daddy! Tell me 'nother story." (Your daddy falls asleep really easy :)) Pretty cute! Especially seeing such a big daddy all snuggled up in your toddler bed!

So cute! The same scene happens over here at our house. I'll wait and wait and finally go in at about 10:30 to the same picture. I also remember the random requests for toys in bed. They are precious in that tiny bed. :)

This looks like a scene for "Fred Claus"
