Wednesday Mornings Womens' Bible Study

Just another wonderful thing about living in Altus OK and being a part of First United Methodist Church... every Wednesday morning there is a Womens' Bible Study from 9-11am. We take turns bringing snacks and always have tea or coffee. Since I've started attending, about a year ago, we've studied numerous topics including women of the Bible and spiritual gifts. We have some fellowship, share prayer concerns and praises and enjoy studying His word together. And if that weren't enough... there is FREE child care. 2 hours of uninterrupted time with my girlfriends learning about my God!!! Fabulous. And this isn't just any child care... the women are awesome, 2 of them also being Ben's Mother's Day Out Preschool teachers. They play games and do projects, sing songs and read books, role play and engage in lots of physical play. They have kitchens and race tracks, trains and bikes and balls... any toy you could imagine. There's a great playground when the weather is good and when it isn't they have a huge gym to run around in. What a blessing this has been in both of our lives! I'll try to add some pictures of Ben with the ladies who watch him next time I take my camera to Bible Study. In the mean time here are a few of my dear sisters in Christ! This particular day we did drawings to show us using our spiritual gifts :)
