Scooter-rific and a slam dunk competition!

There are lots of ways we learn and play every day! You keep me on my toes... literally! You're getting more and more active and athletic as of lately, and we are increasingly more thankful for our long tiled hallway as the weather here in OK has been cold and windy. Here are a few photos of your latest physical feats.
It's funny, when you trip or slip or generally just fall down and bump something you are so quick to jump up, shake it off and turn to me with the sweetest look of concern saying, "I'm OK Mom. I'm being careful. I'm not hurt!" You say it before I even have a chance to ask you how you are. You just know I'm about to gasp and run over to you with worry in my eyes! You are so dear, you just don't want me to be upset... and I think you want to make sure I'll still let you do whatever it is you are trying to do :) What happened to my precious little baby who depended on my cuddles and kisses for his boo boos? Good thing you still come and give me lot of hugs and kisses to ease me through this transition!
I love you my little daredevil!

Check out the absolute expression of joy! This is what childhood is all about...
Concentrating to see how fast he can get going... "faster, harder, bigger" - definately your boyhood goal!
Check out the look! A little showmanship after having made an excellent shot!
"SCORE!"
Mommy's version of a slam dunk.
Posing with my superstar. This hoop was made using our cranium sports station. It can be put together at least 12 different ways to make numerous hoops and nets.

I can't wait until Ben is proficient on a bicycle. We'll take an old door and make a jumping ramp. If you were nervous when Ben's in the hallway, just wait until he spends a week at Grandpa's house!
