Benjamin the Sports Maniac!

Wow is this little guy all boy when it comes to play time lately! I have a few sweet moments of doing an impromptu art project, reading books or playing board games, but mostly he just wants to run, jump, wrestle and "play sports mommy"! Lucky for me, he still fulfills my getting-even-more-pregnant need to just sit in the evenings when he's content to cuddle and talk talk talk about all sorts of random things. But for a large portion of the day it's like we're holding a mini-Olympics here. Here are his latest concentrations, although he seems to add more every day.

That was quick, he's got it! Although I still wouldn't let daddy leave his side :)
Now it's on to soccer practice. It's actually practice for daddy's team, but we have to improvise because they don't let you start pee wee soccer in Altus until you're 4, and Ben's ready now! Here he is showing me his muscles during warm up stretching and flexing! I know you're not supposed to say this about your own child, for fear of bragging, but this is my blog so I'm going to say what I want :) He is just SO DARN PRECIOUS I can't stand it!

And thanks to a sale at the BX, Ben got a big boy bike two months before his birthday. He likes taking care of it just as much as he likes riding it! Such a guy :) Here they are checking the air for tires.
