Last of Vacation Photos - For Now! The Planetarium!

So many fun things to do in Chapel Hill... this day we went to the Planetarium and Science Museum. Ben was so excited to see all the stars and planets during the show... although the room did get a little to dark for him at first :) And we're still perfecting our whispering skills :)

Downstairs we got to investigate all sorts of science experiments and he was totally intrigued!

This magnifying camera allowed us to see textures up close, very cool...

...especially on Ben's hair! Baby bump alert near 20 weeks with Ben investigating a powerful magnifying glass up front. He loved seeing leaves, feathers and such WAY up close.
Pumping up some lungs...
Moving planets around with a magnet.
Learning more about the planets!
Ben and Grandma testing out a goup display. They have their hands inside gloves and are moving goup around inside that big box. It quickly turned to a goup flinging battle!
Too cool!
The goup was DEFINITELY Ben's favorite!

Then it was off to the gift shop that we can no longer just cruise by when we're at such places. But that's OK, because I love those places too! We got some fun things to use at home in our own science discoveries like a magnifying glass and a pincher arm!

What a fun day! Here's one more pose outside with the giant sun dial!

We definitely got our fill of fun outings for a while and feel recharged and a able to live out in the sticks for a while! (Really Altus is a very nice place for our family to live right now!)

love,
The Travelers
