Question of the Week...

You could tell a lot about life in the Summers' household just by the current "question of the week" from Benjamin. It would actually be a good way to keep record of our family life. I often think I should start writing down each question of the week. Well, here's the most current one at least:

"Will my baby brother be able to go swimming with me?"

"No honey, not at first. Mommy will have to hold him in the pool."

"Will he be able to play baseball and soccer and racket ball with me?"

"No honey, he'll just have to watch at first."

"Will he be able to jump on the trampoline with me?"

"Not right away sweetheart. He's going to be really little at first. We'll have to teach him how to do all those things when he gets bigger."

"Well then, what WILL my baby brother be able to do!?!"

"At first he'll just sleep and eat a lot. But he'll learn new things every day, and before you know it he'll be able to play with you."

"Oh."

p.s. In order to qualify as a "question of the week", it must be a serious question (to Benjamin at least) and be asked repeatedly... and I do mean REPEATEDLY! There are lots of question each day, of course, but the "question of the week" is special because even when he knows the answer he still just wants to discuss it over and over again - either because it completely baffled him, excited him, worried him, he's still hoping the answer will change... or he just thinks it's hilarious!
