AFA plays in the Armed Forces Bowl

We left Colorado on our whirlwind Christmas tour to head down to Fort Worth, Texas for the Armed Forces Bowl. The AFA played well, but lost in the end. That 4th quarter always seems tough for them. We had a great time cheering them on though with Aunt Jackie, Josey, Jenna, Col and Lynners. And afterwards we made our annual bookstore stop to stock up on some New Years Resolution resources, had a most delicious steak dinner and swam in the hotel pool until we turned into raisens. We were exhausted by the time we jumped into bed to watch the ball drop in NYC. I think this might have been the first time in our marriage that we fell asleep before ringing in 2008, opps! Happy New Year anyway :)
