2008 has arrived! We quite enjoyed 2007, to be honest. With lots of changes around here, all for the better. Here's a little recap of what comes to mind right now...
We: settled into our little rancher and made it our own, joined FUMC and got involved teaching Sunday school, volunteering and attending Bible studies, made lots of great family memories and spent precious time together exploring this part of the country, we even took a few fun vacations to Hawaii/Vail/Branson/NC/Vegas/Colorado
Marc: finally had the time and availability to play in a soccer league, started the tradition of family camping with a new travel trailer, upgraded to evaluator and was selected for promotion to Major
Jaimee: officially became a stay at home mommy, started her own business teaching kindermusik classes to over 30 families, became fully integrated into the mommy minivan circuit complete with Bible Studies, mommy and me gymnastics, playgroups and a home school preschool curriculum, tried out a few new hobbies (i.e. blogging) and got the house in order after having been a little second string for the last 7 years :)
Benjamin: achieved milestone after milestone... moved to a big boy bed, started potty training, knows all the preschool basics (numbers, colors, letters, shapes, opposites, sizes, days, etc), blossomed in kindermusik, gymnastics and Church preschool, talks in paragraph after paragraph complete with the best facial expressions (wow does he have expressive eyes), memorized 5 Bible verses and numerous Bible stories, and is developing the sweetest most loving character
Cooper and Chloe Jean: forgot that Marc and I ever existed now that the new love of their lives can get them treats all by himself, sleep a little more then romp now, and love terrorizing the two wild daschunds next door
We can't wait to see what 2008 has in store for our family!
