A good day...

We've recovered from the funk and got back into the swing of things today. It was a really good day. It started off with Little Einsteins after we got dressed and ready... I came back into the den after fixing breakfast to find Ben like this. He had gone into the laundry room and got an empty basket to sit in so he could have his own rocket ship just like his Little Einstein friends next to him on the couch.
Oh, and this is also the official unveiling of the cheesey preschooler smiling stage :)

With "L" as the letter of the week we had fun Licking Lollipops!
And even more fun showing off our blue tounges...
Then for our weekly science project we made our own water color paints. Very cool! We're still waiting for them to harden but we're looking forward to using them soon. And best yet, we now have the skills and know how to make all sorts of things we would have normally just gone to the store to purchase.
I even did a little scrapbooking during nap time. I have a very long way to go to get caught up but I'm working on it.
And the biggest accomplishment of the day was that I actually made a marinade for porkchops and preped them for dinner. This is huge since I don't even do bottle marinades, I can be a pretty basic cook. Thanks for the recepie Jill! Everyone loved them and you're right - it wasn't that difficult :)

We hope to receive an original masterpiece from this latest artistic endeavor. We would also like the recipe for your friends marinade.
