We had been talking about getting you a fish tank for a while now. We knew you would enjoy it and we were secretly excited ourselves having remembered fish tanks from our childhoods. But we hadn't gotten around to it yet. Then our friends the Keiths asked us to watch their fish while they were on vacation, and that pretty much cinched the deal. You kept asking where your fish were when they took them back home. You took it well when we told you that they had just been visiting like when Cooper and Chloe go and stay at the kennel when we go on vacation. Once that sank in, we asked you if you would like to get some fish of your own... of course you said yes! We picked out a 10 gal fish tank and lots of fun things to go inside and then headed to Pet O Rama to pick out $4 worth of goldfish. We had fun setting it up together and your new fish definitely like their new home. We're surprised at how playful they can be and mommy was excited to find that one of the fish likes to sleep upside down in a tree like a catfish her family had when she was little (Charlie). The tank is very pretty and very calming with it's soft glow and waterfall sound. You're having a great time feeding them and watching them swim.

Their Name is Fishy
I asked you what their names were, and you looked at me like I was going crazy... "their name is fishy mom".
We're going to enjoy them for a long time... well, either them or some look a likes if they end up being of the short lifespan variety :) They were only 50 cents a piece!
love,

Oh man...I'm in for it when Caden sees that Ben got a fish tank! I'm not even up for fish! ;)
We remember Charlie! Your fish tank is awsome. Way to go Ben! Ben is correct in naming his fish. Famous writers named their fish "One Fish, Two Fish...."
How fun that you got a fish tank!! I bet Benjamin just loves looking at all the "fishy" in there. Love it!
We can't wait to meet Fishy, Fishy, Fishy, Fishy and Fishy!
How fun!
