So, today I was planning on getting some "just me" time while Marc and Ben worked on some projects around the house... but once again my plans were foiled by, well, myself! I just couldn't bear to be away from my guys, especially when they were doing so many fun things. Here's a little pictorial of some of our happenings.
Oh, and about the title... Ben heard me saying that I was thinking about going to the coffee shop (we have a Starbucks now - fancy pants, I know!) to relax and he quickly offered to "help" me with that request. Why on earth would you want to trek all the way to Starbucks, alone, when you can get even better service at home! Ben chauffeured me to his coffee shop where he served the most delicious brew! What a sweetheart!
I'm going to look back on these photos and treasure the memories when he no longer wants to "go riding" with me all afternoon long :)
"You're gonna get me! I'd better run!" Is a most commonly heard phrase around here lately :)
Ben was really pretty good at making this airplane fly! Notice all the leaves on the ground... that was the "project" I was writing about earlier. They did finally get raked up, after a lot playing first!
Ben was more interested in digging in the dirt then he was with the kite flying, but Marc and I enjoyed it!
Here he's racing off to a big dirt pile he just spotted.

Looks like a fun day. He is cracking me up in his helmet. :-) We were outside playing when you called about the park, but thanks anyway!
p.s. me time is important too, so try to get some soon. That's an order!

Grandpa always says make work fun.
He also says pace yourself. I know he would fit in with the guys.
