Playhouse Disney Live

In the words of another mom... Ben lit up with wide eyes, a huge smile and a dropped jaw... gasping as if to say "I KNEW THEY WERE REAL! THEY REALLY DO EXIST MOM!" We danced and sang and laughed and cheered. The only problem was Benjamin noticed each and every character they left out and insisted on knowing where they were... come on Disney, you can't have a party without Daisy Duck! We had a lot of fun and found comfort in knowing that lots of other 30-something men and women know all the words to the Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, My Friends Tigger and Pooh and Mickey Mouse Club House theme songs and can tell you exactly what "meeska, mooska, Mickey mouse", "oh toodles", "we need more power - start patting" and "think, think, think" mean!

The Disney Playhouse Groupies

Ben and Ella right before the show. He's sooooooo proud to be carrying the tickets and she's thrilled to have purchased a Mikey Mouse lollipop!

Daddy held him up high so I could get a picture of him with the sign. He thought that was pretty cool!

Here's a movie clip of Ben dancing to the preshow music. This was mild compared to his performance when the whole Mickey Mouse gang came out and asked everyone to dance along. But I wanted to record it because this is his main dancing move... an all over body bounce with his arms cycling out in front of him. Love it!
