Brotherly Love

These two, oh my! Alone they are equally adorable, enjoyable and loveable... but together they are a force to be reckoned with! They divide their time evenly between keeping me on my toes and sweeping me off my feet. Oh how I LOVE my boys!

Here are some of my favorite memories of late of big B and little L:

Daddy's outnumbered during wrestling time now, and he loves it!
I get to have breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with these two...
how lucky am I!?!
Do you see Benjamin eyeing Liam here? Just about two seconds after this photo, Benjamin grabbed his precious baby brother's feet and pulled them out from under him. Totally a rough and tumble big brother move... and not done out of meaness, but I still wasn't ready for it! And neither was Liam. But he didn't cry. His laughter only encourages his big brother's loving torture.
So I told him to "be careful, be gentle, he's just a baby, he's smaller then you, you could hurt him"... blah blah blah... and summed it up with "come up with something else not as rough to play"... And this is what he came up with. Of course Liam thought this was genius too!
Gross!
I think I'm going to be saying that a lot :)
Off to the races! Family game night recently included "camel races", which basically was crawling while balancing a bean bag on your back.
Liam might have won a few times, his crawling is really stable, but he kept getting distracted :)
In this great big house, we're usually all within a 10 foot radius of each other. It's always play time here. And everything is better together!
Somebody still likes to jump into his little brother's pictures...
but how can I get mad at a face like this?
So I just take more pictures... here's one of Liam, also known as "the baby giant" or "the baby monster" taking down our lego village. Fitting him into the play scenario helps smooth tensions over a squashed creation.
This is absolutely a FAVORITE game of theirs. They crawl like mad towards the little Thomas chair and wrestle to get into a better position to bury their heads and laugh! Odd, but quite amusing and very very fun!
It's getting harder to keep things away from his little brother, but he's also excited to seem him accomplish new milestones like pulling up. He says, with such enthusiasm, "MOM, LOOK AT WHAT LIAM CAN DO NOW!"
Of course, sometimes it's "MAWWWWWM, look what Liam can do NOW!"
I love this picture! I love how close they are... although it would be OK if they had their own king sized bed to take over and cuddle in :)
My boys!
