Where Are We?

We got a little lost on our recent road trip to Garmisch and Rothenberg ODT...

In the driver's defense, our navigation system guided us...

to the middle of a farmers field that had a dead end.

We think we had the settings a little off. That should teach us to not skip reading the manual.

At least we got to see the windmills up close :)

I always wondered what they looked like from below.

Good thing we were traveling with a laid back bunch!

We are quickly realizing that things don't always go as planned, or stay quite on schedule for that matter, when traveling through Europe. Flexibility and keeping a good attitude are key to having a successful trip. We've managed to have lots of fun adventures so far though! Even with a detour or two thrown in there between the major sights!
